CHOREOGRAPHERS
Our choreographers are top alumni and directors of dance and cheer teams in the NFL, NBA, AFL, MLB and other sports leagues. They will teach 6 sidelines and 2 routines in length of 45-60 seconds, representing all major sports leagues. Read choreographer bios and view photos here!

Shannon Oleen**Shannon McKain Oleen, Nationally recognized judge, coach and choreographer, former Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleader, MLS Sporting Kansas City and the Kansas City Comets Dancer.   




PRESENTERS
Featuring experts in the area of fitness, hair, makeup, and interview skills.

**Loree Gentry has been involved in dancing and cheerleading for over 30 years.Loree GentryShe began her gymnastics and dance career at the age of 4 and continued her dancing and cheerleading experience through college. Loree was a part of the Northwest Missouri State University's Collegiate Dance team which placed in the top 10 at the National Competition in Dallas, Texas. She has coached various high school cheerleading and dance squads, and has also directed several muscial theater productions. Most recently, Loree was a member of the 2004 and 2005 Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders. She was also on the KC Chiefs Cheerleading staff in 2006 and 2007. Her expertise is now in athletic conditioning and public speaking. Loree is currently a high school English teacher and a fitness instructor at 24 Hour Fitness.

**Jami Roth, is a freelance makeup artist who currently freelances for Chanel Cosmetics & Jami RothFragrances and Armani this year.  Jami began her career with Chanel when she was 19 years old working at Dillard's behind the counter and have been with Chanel now for the past eight years.  When she is not freelancing she enjoys doing makeup for weddings, fashion shows, photos shoots, events, dances and so forth.  Jami is excited to help you get audition ready!

**Laura Eilers, national sales director of Go Wild! Wear at Angela King Designs, will present on top tips in audition attire and team fashion. Laura has outfitted the Unofficial Cheerleaders of the New York Giants, the Kansas City Command Dancers, and multiple pro cheer and collegiate audition candidates. The company has a 22-year history of creating the best costumes NFL and NBA cheerleading. 

**Shannon McKain Oleen is a former NFL Cheerleader, Pryor Leadership Fellow, and 4-H State Council Alumna, she has entertained and educated audiences around the world, receiving several accolades and awards throughout her career.The Kansas City native relates how hard work, the right attitude and passion really will lead you to achieving your dreams.  Shannon will provide tips for enhancing our communication skills during auditions.

ABOUT THE CHOREOGRAPHERS


Amber TaylorAmber Taylor has been dancing since age 3, and has been teaching dance for the last 14 years.  She spent several years teaching for the two largest dance companies in the United States; Universal Dance Association and National Dance Alliance for both High School and Collegiate leveled dancers. In 2002 Amber graduated from William Jewell College with a B.A. in Communication with an emphasis on Public Communication.  She also spent 4 years on her College Dance Team ranking in the top 6 in the nation 3 times. Amber also spent time as a Kansas City Wizards Girl (MLS Soccer), choreographer for the Kansas City Comets Galaxy Girls, and was cast as a dancer for Carnival Cruise lines. Besides her background in performance and choreography, Amber has been teaching at the studio level since age 14.  She has received several top awards for choreography, and her dancers have ranked with top awards at several competitions including Starquest, Spotlight, Dance Champs, Nexstar, and Stage One. Amber has studied with master instructors including; Mia Michaels, Brian Friedman, Shane Sparks, Tyce Diorio, Jeff Amsdem, Derrick Schraeder, Keri Legrand,  Henry LaTang, Marcus Alford, Annie Day, Wade Robson, Charles McKown, Cecelia Marta,  Joe Tremaine, Doug Caldwell,  Germaine Salsberg and many more.  She is well versed in the techniques of tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and hip-hop. 


Ashley Worrell MitchellAshley Worrell Mitchell danced for three seasons for the NBA in Dallas and San Antonio. She went on to become an NFL Cheerleader and AFL Dancer in Kansas City. Ashley owned Danceworks Conservatory studio in Kansas City before starting a family in 2009. She is the current director of the Missouri Western State University Dance Team. Among her greatest and most recognizable achievements is the release of her book entitled Half-Time Highlights: A Guide to Dancing in the NBA/NFL. She has been featured on Ultimatecheerleaders.com and Alumnicheerleaders.com for her significant contribution ot the professional cheerleading industry. Ashley serves as a consultant for Going Pro Entertainment in the Kansas City region, stretching to Omaha.


Laura EilersLaura Eilers is the reigning Ms. United States 2011. She spent 6 years as an NFL Cheerleader - 5 years in Kansas City, where she was a captain and choreographer, and 1 year in St. Louis. Laura performed in 7 countries with the Armed Forces Entertainment, cheered at the NFL Hall of Fame Game and represented a special tour for NFL Mexico. She was a 4-year instructor for Universal Dance Association, is the current dance/cheer choreographer for the USA Science Cheerleaders, the University of Richmond, the Richmond Raiders (Professional Indoor Football League) and the Portsmouth Cavaliers (American Basketball Association). She is the national sales manager for Angela King Designs Go Wild! Wear, allowing her to consult countless collegiate and professional dance and cheer teams around the world.
